Blanchette's Urban Saddlery

Our newest refreshed redesigned secret of the Inn! This room honors the founder of Saint Charles, Louis Blanchette whose grist mill sits 30 yards from the main Inn. In 1843 these rooms were used as a saddlery for pioneers heading West to the Oregon and Santa Fe trails along this Boone’s Salt Lick Trail.. The room offers all new recessed incandescent dimmable lighting and chandelier. Amenities include wine cooler, Nespresso coffee/espresso machine, 42 inch Fire tv with your favorite apps, smart charging alarm clock radio. Be wowed as this simple room packs a historic punch! (King bed, small standing shower bath only-no tub.) Bedroom overlooks the garden level and is at walk out ground level. Please NOTE: These rooms are in an active tourism destination pedestrian area.
