For more than 175 years the Carter-Rice building has stood silently collecting stories about St. Charles, its residents and visitors. Now known as the Boone’s Lick Trail Inn, the building has been located along Historic Boone’s Lick Road since 1843. All of our accommodations provide an atmosphere of historic authenticity, appointed with fine antiques and comfortable period reproductions.
